Derecho also called Bow echo

Here is a little weather to share. This derecho started in East Texas and moved all the way to Alabama and Georgia on Sunday. It caused widespread wind damage, literally thousands of trees

down just in Alabama alone along with home damage and a few tornadoes also produced by this line of storms, so if you ever see a bow appearing on weather radar it is likely you will see very strong damaging winds and maybe even a tornado so take cover!

Summer almost here!

After a brief taste of summer, we are back to the nice spring weather.
Last week we had 90 degree weather, it was a hot one down in DC also, can you say 95 degrees plus and a little humidity to boot!
But looks like nice spring weather in NY for the next week or so with temps in the
60s and 70s and chances of rain every couple of days.

You have got to love this time of year in NY, not to hot and not to cold.

Is Spring going to Spring?

Unknown, it seems that Spring teases us for a day and then it returns to Winter.

Hey I thought we were supposed to be fearful of that Global Warming thing! I guess its
not working this year.

The forecast does look brighter for NY starting this weekend, but I don't see any temperatures above 60 degrees for the next week or so.

Go Away Winter

So we are waiting for another snow storm looks like 6-10 inches tomorrow.

We are looking forward to seeing Sarah later this week, it should be fun and the weather should by sunny but still chilly.

Finally, Sherry let me get a ticket to fly and see Mom and Dad at the end of February so that will be fun.

Hey, Hailee has not hacked my blog in awhile, I guess I am doing better at this.

It was good to talk to Aaron on Sunday he was visiting with Sarah, I am sure he gets lonely being on the road all the time.

Tshcuss,

So the snow is still a flying here, we have over 90 inches this year, 40 inches above normal.
Still over a foot of snow on the ground and the arctic air is arriving soon!

So much for global warming here!

I am definitely ready for NM weather!

Still in Utah

Hey this is really me, Ray. I got bored and decided to post something.

Anyways, although we had to come to Utah for Sherry's Father's funeral. We have enjoyed the past few weeks visiting family and enjoying the Christmas Season.

We went up to Temple Square last night and saw the lights, they were beautiful as always, but it was very busy lots of people for family night.

We are exicted to hear that Christina's Family will be moving to DC and that Angela is coming up to Snowtown, USA. LOL

We look forward to getting back home, so I can see my cats again. I am sure that Sammy (I call him Mitty Bitty, because he was so small as a kitten) and Annabelle well enjoy our presence again.

Love Ray and Family,

Well, I haven't posted much. This whole blogger thing isn't, well, my thing. This is something more for my lovely, kind, sweet, amazing, charismatic daughter Hailee.

If you just did a double take, it's okay. My dad really didn't type this. I just got really bored.

Let me turn into my dad again.

It's been snowing a lot lately, but here in Utah it has nothing to do with the lake effects like in New York. I'd also give you the scientific terminology but I afraid your little brains wouldn't comprehend it.

Just kidding. I don't even know the scientific terminology for weather stuff.

Well, love you lots dad, and thank you for a your gracious comments! Love Hailee!
